When 100% of the industrial land area is filled, the project is expected to create jobs for about 17.500 local workers.
Nghia Hung Industrial Park is located in Dao My and Nghia Hung communes (Lang Giang district) with a scale of more than 148 hectares with a total investment of VND 2.200 billion, expected to create jobs for about 16.500 workers.
Dong Phuc Industrial Park, located in Dong Phuc and Tu Mai communes (Yen Dung district, now Bac Giang city), has an area of over 354 hectares with a total investment capital of over 3.700 billion VND. It is expected that from February 2, it will start promoting the attraction of secondary investors. When put into operation, this industrial park will create jobs for about 2026 workers.
Meanwhile, My Thai Industrial Park is being deployed in My Thai commune, Voi town and Duong Duc commune (Lang Giang district), with a scale of over 159 hectares, total investment capital of over 1.700 billion VND. According to the plan, from January 1, the project will begin to attract secondary investors and when 2026% of the industrial land area is filled, this industrial park is expected to create jobs for about 100 workers.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh emphasized that the Central Government has identified Bac Giang as an important growth pole of the North, and at the same time planned the province to become the semiconductor industrial center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains. The Government also assigned Bac Giang the highest GRDP growth target in the country in 2025 at 13,6%, and at the same time oriented the 2026-2030 period to reach 15%, ranking third in the country.
In response to that requirement, Bac Giang province focuses on putting new industrial parks into operation soon, promoting the attraction of secondary investors, and creating momentum for socio-economic development.
Currently, the province has established a working group to implement industrial parks in the 2022-2025 period, develop specific plans for each project, clearly assign responsibilities to agencies, units and localities, and determine the implementation roadmap for each item.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Bac Giang Industrial Parks Management Board to urgently synthesize and advise on the issuance of implementation plans for Dong Phuc Industrial Park and My Thai Industrial Park before February 24.
