Industrial parks in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang - the industrial capital of the North, have not had production interrupted by storm No. 3 and post-storm circulation.
On September 12.9, speaking with reporters from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the Management Board of Industrial Parks (IPs) of Bac Giang province said that storm No. 3 and its circulation did not disrupt production and business of enterprises in IPs throughout the province and the movement of workers.
Accordingly, storm No. 3 and its circulation caused the roofs of some businesses in the industrial park to be blown off, but they were repaired immediately.
In addition, heavy rain caused some roads in Quang Chau and Van Trung Industrial Parks (Viet Yen town) to be partially flooded. However, after a short time, pumping stations in Viet Yen town promptly pumped water into the Cau River.
Viet Yen town - where 4 large industrial parks are concentrated: Quang Chau, Van Trung, Dinh Tram and Viet Han - is always closely monitored and directed by Bac Giang province, not allowing storms and floods to affect production.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province said that storm No. 3 and the circulation after the storm did not disrupt production of industrial parks in the area.
“The industrial parks did not have power outages or prolonged flooding. Only a few businesses had trees fall on their garages or power stations, but the damage was repaired immediately,” said the leader of the Bac Ninh Province Industrial Park Management Board.
Previously, on September 11.9, after hearing the news that Samsung Industrial Company, Dai Dong - Hoan Son Industrial Park (Tien Du district) was flooded, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi directly went to the enterprise to inspect the flooding situation and direct the drainage plan.
After determining the cause of the flooding, Mr. Le Xuan Loi requested the local authorities and contractors to immediately clear the site and dig the Huc River drainage canal to create a drainage route for the industrial park.
Bac Ninh and Bac Giang are considered the industrial capitals of the North. At the same time, they are the production bases of many large corporations in the world such as: Samsung, Foxconn, Canon, Goertek...
