Accordingly, the Planning Task aims to contribute to ensuring the supply for the development of industrial infrastructure systems in industrial parks in the city, meeting the needs of attracting foreign direct investment and domestic investment capital in Hanoi in general and investment in industrial parks in the city in particular.
In addition, the establishment of industrial parks focuses on developing clean and modern industries, using advanced and environmentally friendly technology, minimizing negative impacts on the environment, saving resources and ensuring sustainability for production activities.
Specifically, the planned land area is about 137 hectares, located in the administrative boundaries of Van Binh, Lien Phuong, Ninh So communes, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi city.
Regarding the boundaries, the North borders Ring Road 4, the South borders agricultural land of Lien Phuong commune, the East borders agricultural land of Van Tao commune; the West borders Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway.
In terms of nature and function, this is an industrial park oriented towards biological industries serving agriculture (high-tech agriculture); processing of high-quality agricultural products and food associated with raw material areas; mechanical engineering, electronics; developing supporting industries, using modern production processes, minimizing environmental pollution, ensuring compliance with the orientation of the Hanoi City Industrial Development Plan to 2020, with a vision to 2030 approved by the City People's Committee.
The expected number of workers and laborers of Bac Thuong Tin Industrial Park is about 7.000 people.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Management Board to be the unit to organize the preparation and submission for approval; to be responsible for implementing in accordance with current State regulations on organizing the preparation and submission for approval of planning; to organize the collection of opinions from relevant agencies, organizations, individuals and communities on the zoning planning project in accordance with regulations.
The city's departments and relevant agencies and units are responsible for coordinating to provide information, documents and data to the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Management Board to serve the research work of establishing the Bac Thuong Tin Industrial Park Construction Zoning Plan, ensuring consistency with relevant sectoral, specialized and field plans.
The time for preparing the zoning plan shall not exceed 9 months from the date the Construction Zoning Plan Task is approved.
