Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has just drafted a report to the Provincial People's Council, requesting approval of the Construction Zoning Planning Task. industrial area Thanh Mien 1, Thanh Mien district, at a scale of 1/2000. This is an important step to concretize the industrial development strategy, attract investment and promote the local economy.

With an area of 226 hectares, this will be a multi-industry industrial park, prioritizing high technology, advanced production and environmental friendliness.
The project is located in Doan Ket, Le Hong and Hong Quang communes, Thanh Mien district. The planning boundary includes: The North borders agricultural land of Doan Ket commune and Hong Quang commune.
The South borders the East-West axis road. The East borders agricultural land and residential area of Le Hong commune, district road 195. The West borders agricultural land and residential area of Doan Ket commune.
Of the total area of 226 hectares, 200 hectares are planned and 26 hectares are for infrastructure connection, expected to create jobs for about 10.500 workers.
Aiming at a high-tech industrial center, Thanh Mien 1 Industrial Park is oriented to develop according to a modern model, not only a production center but also a system of convenient services such as accommodation, trade services, culture, sports, healthcare, green parks... ensuring the best life for workers.
The project is implemented to realize the Hai Duong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, contributing to attracting investment, shifting economic structure, creating jobs for local workers and promoting sustainable industrial development.

Up to now, Hai Duong province has established 17 industrial parks with a total detailed planning area of about 2.738 hectares. Of these, 11 industrial parks have been put into operation, achieving an average occupancy rate of over 80%.
As of early 2025, Hai Duong province has attracted 542 FDI projects with a total foreign investment capital of more than 10,3 billion USD, ranking 11th in the country in attracting FDI.
Although not in the top 10 localities with strong development in Real estate industrial zones in 2024, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Nghe An, Binh Duong and Dong Nai,
Hai Duong is still highly appreciated for its potential for industrial real estate development. With its strategic location in the Northern key economic region and convenient transport infrastructure, the province is attracting the attention of many domestic and foreign investors.
According to the Hai Duong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the province plans to develop 32 industrial parks with a total area of about 5.661 hectares by 2030.
