New Hai Phong – FDI growth pole in the North
After merging with Hai Duong, the “new Hai Phong” quickly asserted its position as the region’s leading logistics, manufacturing and export center. In the first six months of 2025, the region recorded an impressive GRDP growth of 11,2%; of which, industry increased by 12,84% and services by nearly 10%. Total accumulated FDI capital has exceeded 50 billion USD from more than 1.700 valid projects, mainly in the fields of processing, manufacturing and logistics.

The highlight of the “new Hai Phong” is the synchronous investment in transport infrastructure and supply chain, converging all five types of transport: road, rail, waterway, air and sea. Lach Huyen deep-water port, Cat Bi international airport, along with the Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh expressway, National Highway 5B and the Kim Thanh East – West axis help shorten the time to transport goods from industrial parks to seaports to only 1-2 hours. This is the key foundation to create the competitive advantage of the region.
An Phat 5 – a strategic connection point in the Northern industrial chain according to ESG standards
According to the plan until 2030, Hai Phong plans to develop 46 industrial parks with nearly 12.000 hectares. Of which, An Phat 5 Industrial Park (Luong Dien - Ngoc Lien) is considered a typical project, both supplementing high-quality industrial land fund and directly connecting to the city's logistics system.
Located in Cam Giang commune (Hai Phong city), An Phat 5 has a strategic location near major traffic routes such as Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, National Highway 5 and National Highway 38; easily connecting to Lach Huyen port, Cat Bi airport, Noi Bai and major border gates such as Huu Nghi, Mong Cai. Thanks to that, the industrial park becomes an intersection between major production centers such as Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, helping businesses optimize their supply chains and reduce logistics costs.
According to the representative of An Phat Holdings, the difference of An Phat 5 lies in the development orientation according to ESG standards - balancing between three pillars: environment, society and governance. The project has a scale of 150 hectares, of which 70% is for industrial land, the rest is reasonably arranged for traffic, trees, technical infrastructure and operating center.
An Phat 5 is built with a closed, environmentally friendly waste treatment system, aiming to reduce emissions and save energy. In addition, the investor focuses on long-term social values such as creating quality jobs, supporting the community through education and health. The project is accelerating infrastructure progress, expected to be ready to welcome investors from the fourth quarter of 2025.
Previously, An Phat Holdings developed two industrial parks with similar models - An Phat Complex (46 ha) and An Phat 1 (180 ha) - both in a green, sustainable direction, attracting businesses from Japan, Singapore, the US... The birth of An Phat 5 is expected to extend that chain of successes, contributing to the completion of the industrial park ecosystem according to new standards - where economic development goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility and community values.
