This locality has recently proven to be a potential economic development area of the province with comprehensive development in both industry, trade and services.
An Thi is a district in the East of Hung Yen province and located between two important development corridors of the Northern region. Along with its convenient location, An Thi district also possesses a modern and synchronous transportation system that helps connect the locality with key economic regions of the North along with connecting roads such as Ring Road 2 of the Capital Region. ; Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, road connecting 5 Hanoi - Hai Phong expressways with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway; National Highway 2, National Highway 38B and 38 provincial roads pass through the district. With this advantage, An Thi district is opening the "door" of economic integration and strongly attracting investors.

From 2022 up to now, the district has made efforts to make an economic breakthrough when implementing planning and early construction of An Thi to become a major industrial center of the province. The district strives that by the end of the 2020-2025 term, the proportion of industry, handicrafts, trade and services accounts for about 72% of the economic structure. This goal shows that the "door" for local industrial development is being opened. This is also an opportunity for An Thi district to become a large industrial center and economic key of the locality in the near future.
Along with existing advantages, An Thi district also proactively develops infrastructure, attracts investment in synchronous construction of transport infrastructure; develop high-tech agriculture. At the same time, the district also focuses on developing clean industries and supporting industries; services, commerce and housing; urban agriculture and spiritual and experiential tourism... to promote investment attraction and improve provincial competitiveness.

With this development momentum, An Thi district is planning 12 industrial parks. Most recently, the Deputy Prime Minister signed a decision approving the project to invest in construction and infrastructure business of Tho Hoang Industrial Park in An Thi district, Hung Yen province.
The project has a scale of 250 hectares, total investment capital is nearly 3.100 billion VND. The project location is adjacent to National Highway 38B, near the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway. When the industrial park comes into operation, it will contribute to attracting investment, increasing budget revenue, improving the local economy and creating jobs for thousands of people.
