Meeting all international technical standards, Hai Long Steel Structures officially commences operations. Export order for steel components to the Senegal market (West Africa). This project marks a milestone in the presence of the Hai Long Steel Structures brand in one of West Africa's energy infrastructure projects.
On April 21, 2026, the international magazine LNG Industry confirmed that Gas Entec Co., Ltd (South Korea) signed an agreement to develop the Dakar LNG Port – the first and largest LNG import facility in West Africa.
This project supplies natural gas to the 300MW combined-cycle power plant at Cap des Biches – Senegal's largest power plant – directly contributing to ensuring energy security and promoting the country's industrialization.
Entering the Elton LNG project in Senegal, Hai Long Steel Structures officially opened its doors to the export market for heavy industrial steel structures. This is a major challenge with high technical requirements and a tight deadline to bring the terminal operational by the first half of 2027.
Securing this key export order was no accident.
