On October 08, 10, Hai Long Construction officially inaugurated Dai Thang Factory - the company's third steel structure factory - in Dai Thang Commune, Tien Lang District, Hai Phong City. The factory is part of Hai Long Construction's investment and development plan with the goal of bringing Hai Long's steel structure products to high-quality markets.
The ceremony was honored with the attendance of:
- Board of Directors of Hai Long Construction Joint Stock Company; Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments, Commanders and staff of Dai Thang Factory.
- Representatives of member companies of Taiyo Group - G18 Construction Equipment JSC & Taiyo Tourism JSC

Dai Thang factory is built on a land area of over 52.000 m2, over 30.000 m2 of factory area with a total investment of up to 400 billion VND. The factory is set up on five main factories with 6 production lines and two paint workshops, modernized with an automated system, helping to save a lot of materials as well as minimize costs while still ensuring productivity and quality.
In particular, Hai Long has boldly invested in Dai Thang factory. Smartline production line - the first smart automatic production line in Vietnam , and Autoline line – heavy beam production With automatic welding and straightening process, it allows to produce beams with web height up to 2,5m.
The entire automatic production line is provided by leading suppliers in the field of welding, cutting and metal processing. When deciding to put the smart steel structure production line into operation, Dai Thang Factory confidently affirms its position as the TOP modern steel structure factory in Vietnam, ensuring a maximum capacity of 25.000 tons/year, specializing in providing heavy industrial steel structure products and aiming to export to high quality markets such as Japan, Korea, ...
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tien - Chairman of Taiyo Group gave a speech summarizing the project process, and shared his feelings when the 20-year dream of Hai Long Construction came true: “In the process of construction and growth, Hai Long always identifies investment and innovation as one of the measures that must be implemented regularly and continuously, in order to maintain competitiveness and continuously improve working conditions and income for workers. Today, I can be proud that Dai Thang Factory is a steel structure factory with modern, synchronous equipment, reasonable operation and the most intelligent management in Vietnam. The success of Dai Thang Factory today is the crystallization of the desire to reach new heights, of strategic vision and also luck and support from customers for Hai Long.”
Mr. Pham Anh Tien also sent special thanks to Vietinbank Le Chan branch - an important economic partner of Hai Long Construction for the past 20 years - one of the important factors for Hai Long to have the success it has today. At the same time, he also sent his sincere thanks to the subcontractors, suppliers and strategic partners of the Company who have accompanied the project.
In addition to the orders that have been and are being implemented with Malaysia and Korea, the representative of the Korean office - Mr. Lee Hyuk Jae (Henry Lee), also representing Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd. (one of the three largest shipbuilding companies in Korea), has signed a cooperation agreement with Hai Long Construction. This is the next step, after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two parties last August. This will be followed by the signing of a contract for the production of auxiliary steel structures for ships with Hanwha Ocean for two years 2025 - 2026, expected to take place in Seoul - Korea in December 12.
Dai Thang Factory is a modern factory designed and constructed by Hai Long Construction itself, learning from the experiences of the factory projects that Hai Long has implemented for partners, applying the most advanced technical solutions, ensuring maximum efficiency in each production stage.
I would like to thank all of Hai Long Construction's staff for accompanying us, not only at the present time but also during the years of the Covid pandemic outbreak or the severe economic fluctuations, for their continuous efforts and solidarity, so that today, we can successfully build Dai Thang Factory, turning a new page in steel structure class, opening a more stable growth cycle, enhancing our competitive position in the market.
