On June 14, 6, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province officially approved the investment policy of the Hong Tien Industrial Park (IP) project in Yen Tien commune, Y Yen district. The project is invested by Hong Tien Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company, with a total capital of more than VND 2025 billion (of which contributed capital is about VND 1.423,8 billion), a land use scale of nearly 213,8 hectares and is expected to attract about 114 concentrated workers.
Strategic location at the intersection of three major traffic routes
Hong Tien Industrial Park has a prime location in the center of the most important traffic routes in the North. The West borders Provincial Road 490 - the development axis connecting the Nam Dinh marine economic zone with Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway; the North borders the district road connecting the Ta Day dike with Road 57B, the North - South railway and National Highway 10. This location helps the Industrial Park to conveniently connect the region, creating conditions to attract investment and develop logistics.
Orientation of high-tech industrial development
Hong Tien Industrial Park is planned to specialize in manufacturing and assembling electronic equipment, computers and optical products. The project has a 50-year operating period from the date of land handover, with a construction progress not exceeding 24 months. This is expected to be the driving force for the development of high-tech industry in Nam Dinh province in the coming period.

Synchronize infrastructure, ensure workers' rights
The Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to support investors in completing legal procedures, monitoring capital contribution progress, mobilizing loans and implementing technical infrastructure, including housing areas and works serving workers. The People's Committees of Ý Yên district and Yên Tiến commune are responsible for site clearance, compensation, resettlement, and ensuring land handover on schedule.
New impetus for the local economy
The Hong Tien Industrial Park project is part of Nam Dinh province's industrial development strategy for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Previously, the province implemented phase 1 of four large industrial parks including Hai Long, Trung Thanh, Xuan Kien and Minh Chau with a total area of nearly 500 hectares. Currently, the province has 6 industrial parks in operation with a total area of more than 1.300 hectares.

The development of Hong Tien Industrial Park not only expands the high-tech industrial system of Y Yen district and Nam Dinh province but also contributes to improving the economic structure, increasing budget revenue, creating high-quality jobs and attracting foreign investment in electronics and high-tech industries.
