(VNF) – Kinh Bac is carrying out legal procedures related to Binh Giang Industrial Park. The project has a scale of 147,8 hectares, a total investment of 1.755 billion VND, and is preparing to start construction in the first quarter of 2026.
Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation - Joint Stock Company (KBC) has just prepared an environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Binh Giang Industrial Park Project.
The project was approved for investment on June 20, 2025 with a land use area of 171,076 hectares (including 150 hectares of industrial park planning land and 21,07 hectares of external traffic land, returned canals and cemeteries), the total investment capital of the project is 1.755 billion VND. The project implementation progress is no more than 30 months from June 20, 2025.

By November 7, 2025, the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board had adjusted the 1/500 project planning. Accordingly, the planning study area of Binh Giang Industrial Park was reduced to 171,076 hectares. Of which, the industrial park planning area is 147,8 hectares, the traffic land connecting the industrial park, the returned canals, and the existing cemetery is 23,26 hectares.
Detailed planning of the industrial park area (147,8 hectares), including: 17 land lots with a total area of 98,11 hectares, maximum construction density of 70%, maximum height of 5 floors; 3 land lots for administrative service works with an area of 0,88 hectares; 17 green land lots with an area of 16,8 hectares and land for traffic and technical infrastructure.
The project was previously located in Binh Giang district, Hai Duong province; after adjusting the boundaries, the area belongs to Thuong Hong and Nguyen Luong Bang communes, Hai Phong city.
Binh Giang Industrial Park is adjacent to the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway in the north; to the south, it borders the Hoa Loan River; to the east, it borders DT.392 and DT.394B. Currently, most of the project area is double-crop rice land, with a converted area of over 129 hectares.
According to VietnamFinance, Kinh Bac plans to start the project in the first quarter of 2026, with the construction period taking about 24 months. Binh Giang Industrial Park is targeted to be operational from the first quarter of 2028.
In Hai Phong, KBC is stepping up investment with a series of large-scale projects such as Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park - Phase 1 (235 hectares, 3.400 billion VND), Trang Cat Urban Area (over 69.000 billion VND), Trang Due 3 Industrial Park (8.000 billion VND) and Trang Due Auxiliary Industrial Park (905 billion VND).
On November 19, Hai Phong City leaders worked with KBC and CTP Invest Ltd – investors from Europe. The two sides proposed cooperation in developing a complex of seaports, airports, logistics and integrated industries.
