This year, Thai Nguyen continues to promote administrative reform and site clearance to attract investment. In January 1, investment attraction in the province has improved: 2025 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects were granted with a total registered capital of 2 million USD, 10,8 FDI project increased capital by 1 million USD. To date, the province has 1,5 valid FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly 223 billion USD.
Attracting foreign investment
In January 1, the whole province achieved important results in attracting domestic and foreign investment:
- Issuing investment policy decisions and investor approvals: 4 projects with total capital of 192 billion VND.
- Issuance of investment registration certificate: 1 project with investment capital of 4.139 billion VND (Project of Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park).
- Capital increase adjustment: 3 projects with total additional capital of 1.657 billion VND.
Up to now, the total number of non-budget projects using domestic investment capital still in effect in the province is 936 projects, with a total registered capital of VND 209.739 billion.
Business registration status of the enterprise
In January 1, the business registration situation of enterprises in the province was also bustling:
- New business registration: 107 enterprises with total registered capital of 845 billion VND.
- Adjustment level: 285 businesses.
- Level of establishment of affiliated units: 34 units.
- Businesses return to operation: 116 businesses.
