JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Objective

Build and organize an effective material and import management system, ensuring adequate, timely and economical supply of materials for production, while closely controlling costs and suppliers in the international supply chain.

The main task

Import purchasing strategy management

Develop a long-term imported materials supply strategy in line with the production and business plan.
Organize the construction, evaluation and development of a foreign supplier system (prioritizing the Chinese market, suitable for mechanical, electrical, container industries...)
Establish procedures to control costs, quality, progress and regulations for supplier evaluation

Purchasing Operations & Group Management

Assign, monitor and evaluate the work performance of groups: imported goods, localization, support personnel
Responsible for approving periodic purchasing plans, budget estimates and supply schedules
Control risks of delayed delivery, defective goods, additional costs and handle incidents related to foreign suppliers

Coordinate and report to superiors

Coordinate with departments: engineering, production, warehouse, accounting to ensure materials are correct - sufficient - on time for production progress
Periodic reports to the Board of Directors on purchasing, inventory, pricing, and material strategy
Proposing process improvements, strategic supplier development directions and optimal import cost solutions

REQUEST

Age From 32 to 45 years old
Academic level University majoring in Economics, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Mechanics, Supply Chain Management...
Foreign Languages Chinese is required (listening - speaking - writing); good English is a big advantage
Experience Have at least 3-5 years of experience in material management/import purchasing in an industrial manufacturing environment
Required skills
- Strategic management of imported materials
- Negotiation, construction and development of international suppliers
- Effective team management, systemic thinking
- Proficient in Excel, ERP/MRP/SAP software
- Quick decision making skills, good situation handling
