On May 04, 05, Hai Long Construction Joint Stock Company officially opened the Korean Representative Office at GIDC building - a symbolic building of Gwangmyeong city. The opening ceremony marked an important step forward in the company's strategy to develop and expand its international business activities.
Attending the ceremony was the presence of Mr. Pham Anh Tien - Chairman of Taiyo Group, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - General Director of Hai Long Construction, Mr. Trinh Quang Vien - Deputy General Director, Mr. Pham Minh Hoang - Head of Project Department & Chief Representative of Korea Office Quoc, along with a team of Korean and Vietnamese managers and engineers, will work at the representative office for the company's upcoming projects.
On the journey of 25 years of construction and development, Hai Long Construction has had the opportunity to carry out many large projects with 'eagle' investors from Korea such as: LG Innotek project (Producing 14,500 tons of steel structures), LG Display project (Producing 9,300 tons of steel structures), Amkor Technology project (Producing 4,500 tons of steel structures), Glonics Thai Nguyen project (General Contractor Design & Build),... These successes are a manifestation of the great potential and suitability of the Korean market for Hai Long's Manufacturing - Construction capacity.
Recognizing that potential, the Board of Directors of Hai Long Construction decided to establish a representative office in Korea with the goal of:
- Successfully exported steel structure products made in Vietnam to the international market, especially strict markets like Korea and developed countries, gradually bringing the Hai Long brand and 'Made in Vietnam' steel structure products to the 'big sea'
- Develop deeper relationships with Korean Investors, to maximize the output of the system of 3 Hai Long factories with production capacity of up to 40,000 tons of steel structures / year; bringing jobs to hundreds of employees and creating surplus value for society.
Mr. Pham Minh Hoang (born 1997), bachelor of Melbourne University - Australia, currently working at Hai Long Construction Company as Head of Project Department and Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, is the person trusted by the Board of Directors with the responsibility of Chief Representative of Office. Hai Long room in Korea. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang also decided to appoint Mr. Kim In Seop (born 1970) as Executive Director, responsible for the daily activities of the Office. Mr. Kim has more than 20 years of experience working in the steelmaking segment of large corporations in Korea.
Also at the opening ceremony, Hai Long Korea team also had the first meeting with the company's Board of Directors. Hai Long Korea's team has shown high determination and presented a clear roadmap to achieve the production and business goals set by the Company.
Hai Long Korea is Hai Long's first step in conquering the strict standards of steel structure products of the land of kimchi.
