On March 15, the Giao Thien Industrial Cluster infrastructure investment project with a total investment capital of about 3 billion VND was held at a groundbreaking ceremony.
On the morning of March 15, Giao Thuy district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Giao Thien Industrial Cluster (CCN) infrastructure construction investment project. Attending the project groundbreaking ceremony were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Phung Hoan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Anh Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mai Van Quyet, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; TUV comrades: Mai Thanh Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Hai Dung, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of departments, branches and branches of the province; Giao Thuy district and businesses.
The project has an area of about 50 hectares, total investment of over 600 billion VND, this is the second and largest industrial cluster project in Giao Thuy district. It is expected that the project will be implemented and put into operation in January 2. When the project comes into operation, it will open an era of strong development of industrial production and services, marking the transition from a purely agricultural economy to developing a service, tourism, and manufacturing economy; Promote the socio-economic development of Giao Thuy district in particular and Nam Dinh province in general to have a breakthrough in economic development.
Giao Thien industrial cluster is located adjacent to the coastal road, section through Nam Dinh province, in Giao Thien commune. In particular, when the bridge over the Red River is completed, invested by Thai Binh province, it will connect the entire route between Nam Dinh province and coastal provinces in the Red River Delta, shortening the time to Hai Phong port and the airport. According to the provincial planning period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1729 dated December 29, 12, the project is located in an area that is one of the four growth poles, one in the province's 2023 economic corridors.
When the project comes into operation, it will create a strong driving force for the development of industrial production and services, marking the transition from a purely agricultural economy to developing a service, tourism, and manufacturing economy; Promote socio-economic development of Giao Thuy district in particular and Nam Dinh province in general. This is also a condition to attract a large number of local workers to devote their efforts and intelligence, contributing to building Giao Thuy district to reach new heights and opportunities in the period of industrialization and modernization.
