Hai Phong has awarded an investment certificate to the Ecovance high-tech biodegradable materials factory project of SK Group (Korea) with a total investment of 500 million USD.
The Ecovance high-tech biodegradable materials factory project will produce biodegradable materials PBAT, PBS, PBATS on an area of 32.089m2, land lot CN5.5G2 at DEEP C Hai Phong I Industrial Park (belongs to Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone).
Phase 1 of the project will start construction in mid-December 12 and complete construction in 2023 months, capacity will reach about 9 tons of products and after expanding phase 35.000, the total project capacity will be 2 tons/year.
This is SK's first direct investment project in Vietnam. Hai Phong became the first address chosen by SK to locate its factory.
